Washoku = Japanese Food

 

Washoku is registered at Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in 2013.

 

Japanese people have highest life expentancy and lowest obesity rate in the world, it is connecting to the food. Washoku contributes to a healthy life as it requires well-balanced and low-fat diets.

We are a small family business introducing an authentic healthy Japanese food to the lovely neighbourhood in West Auckland.

 

Kazu is the owner chef who creates all our food with his passion, he has been in New Zealand since 2005, then he met his wife Aki. Aki used to be working in different industry but had decided to support Kazu's dream of having his own business. Aki does all the management and working at the front of house, she enjoys having a good company with all the customers.
